Salmon Homecoming Introduction Surveying

Join us for an informative online webinar designed to provide you with foundational knowledge about salmon, the challenges they face, and our research findings. Our goal is to have a team of volunteers to survey McSorley Creek in the Saltwater State Park.

This session will include guidance on identifying different salmon species, measuring and processing dead fish, submitting data and an overview of the creek section we survey.

We ask volunteers to commit approximately one and a half hours per week, from October through December, to monitor and gather data.
