McSorely Creek Restoration Work Party

The ivy is a major problem in the park, smothering the trees, taking over the ground and not allowing the native plants to grow.

Native plants are so important for a healthy environment. This is a long-range project, so we are scheduling work parties each month to tackle and reclaim the creek bed for salmon habitat.

We meet in the lower parking lot on the creek bank.
